Walk around the city of Ierapetra
Ierapetra (Ιεράπετρα) is the fourth largest city of Crete and also the largest town located in the Lassithi prefecture. It is located on the south-eastern coast of the island, in the place of its characteristic narrowing. The name of the largest city in this part of Crete is by no means synonymous with some astronomical number of people living permanently in Ierapetra.
Beach in Krios
Krios beach is located about 9 km west of Paleochora and it is also the last beach on this section of the southern coast, accessible by road. If you are looking for a slightly less crowded place and you do not care about the perfect sand, you should be satisfied by choosing this beach.
Film report from the Greek Panorama
We invite you to a short film presenting the first edition of the Greek Panorama, which was organized in 2015 in Warsaw at Torwar.
The island of Spinalonga
We invite you to watch our movie filmed on the island of Spinalonga. It is located about 5 km from the center of Elounda and is one of the biggest tourist attractions in Crete.

Some of them will definitely be available for separate films and articles on our website.
Film from Seitan Limania
Over the past few years, Seitan Limania has become a beach that has joined the top spots of the most recognizable places in Crete. In the high season, a lot of people come here, which is not discouraged by a wild walking trail leading to the beach or a winding, steep road leading to the parking lot.

Spring 2016 express videomodulation of the trip
In accordance with the tradition so far, we finally managed to assemble a film summarizing our last trip. Spring in Crete is a good time for hiking, so in our short clip you could not miss shots from this type of trips. We invite you to watch.
On foot from Chora Sfakion is Loutro
Of course, you can get to Loutro by ferry from Chora Sfakion, but we again set a slightly more ambitious plan and we passed a part of the E4 route between these towns. An additional advantage of this solution is the opportunity to see the amazing Glyka Nera beach, ie Słodka Woda.
Our film report on entering Psiloritis
Tonight we would like to invite you to our short film relation from the entrance to Psiloritis, the highest mountain of Crete rising 2456 m above sea level. In a full-day trip, we could accompany the participants of the spring trip organized by kreta24.pl, whom we warmly greet in this place.

Section of the E4 route between Sougia and Lissos
You can either take a rented boat to the ruins of the ancient city of Lissos, or walk along the E4 route from Sougia. If you have never been there or are planning such a trip, we invite you to watch the movie we shot on this trail.
Sitia - sunset over the city
Today we invite you to the next sunset that we shot last year in Crete. This time you will be able to see the end of the day above the city of Sitia, located in the eastern end of the island. A part of the film was shot by a time-lapse technique allowing for a significant acceleration of the sunset.
The Samaria Gorge in the eye of our camera
A trip through the Samaria Gorge is certainly known to most people who were in the western part of Crete. This several-kilometer-long trail attracts thousands of tourists each year. Today we would like to invite you to watch our video, which we shot in this gorge last year.

Balos lagoon in the eye of our camera
The Balos Lagoon attracts hundreds of tourists every day, but the amazing view from the top of the Tigani peninsula is reserved only for those who decide to get here by their own car.
Teo Vafidis invites to the Greek Panorama
If you have not been able to get here today, we are sending you a special invitation from Teo Vafidis. We spent several unusually pleasant hours in the company of our friends from Crete (Physis of Crete) and the countless number of guests who visited their stand. We were very pleased to meet some of our readers. If you are looking for a good olive oil and organic cosmetics from Crete, then tomorrow is the opportunity to buy them (remember to take cash).
A trip to the Richtis gorge
Going deep into the Richtis Gorge located near the town of Exo Mouliana, it is hard not to resist the impression that it enters a land completely different from the rest of Crete. The abundance of water and shade mean that even at the peak of the tourist season, this place is full of lush vegetation. So obvious rust colors dominate in other places of Crete, they are completely absent here because their place is replaced by lush greenery.

A walk around Chania
Chania (Χανιά) is the second largest (after Heraklion) city of Crete. Although the official number of residents does not exceed 58 thousand. however, together with the neighboring towns, Chania forms an agglomeration with a population of approximately 130,000. people.
Sunset in Chania
The sunset in Chania is a charming spectacle with an unusual color gamut. Every day at the peak of the tourist season, it attracts many people. We've also made a time-lapse video from this moment and we wish you a pleasant viewing.
Sunset on Elafonisi beach
We would like to present you a short film from the sunset on Elafonisi beach. We suggest you sit comfortably in the chair, turn on the full screen and let yourself be absorbed by the beautiful colors that the beach emanates in the evening.

Start from Chania airport
While the arrival to Crete is one of the most enjoyable moments of vacation it is definitely hard to say the same about the departure. This moment marks the definitive end of the summer and goodbye to Crete. Today we would like to present you a short film from our this year's takeoff from the airport. Ioannis Daskalogiannis. In the further part of the film you can see the shots of the Akrotiri peninsula and Chania.
Crete from west to east and from dawn to dusk
We would like to take you on our journey through Crete. We have tried to capture a considerable part of the places that we visited during our holiday this year in a short film, not much longer than 3 minutes. Certainly, some of them are well known to you and you will recognize them flawlessly. However, we think that even for the greatest experts in Crete, some of the places will be interesting puzzles.
Zeus Demo Team at the Radom Air Show 2015 shows
On August 21-22, 2015, the fourteenth edition of the AIR SHOW International Air Show took place in Radom. Like two years ago, one of the highlights of this event was the dynamic show of the Greek F-16 belonging to a special aerobatic team
Cruise with Agia Roumeli
We would like to invite you to watch a short film where you can see a few shots well known to all those who passed the Samaria Gorge. At the end of the day ferries leaving Agia Roumeli take the vast majority of tourists, so it's a great opportunity to see how many people were on this walking route that day. Even though it was our next trip to Samaria, we will definitely come back here again.
Landing at the airport in Chania
Landing at the airport Ioannis Daskalogiannis in Chania. Boeing 737-800 aircraft for Czech Travel Service charter airlines. Flight on the Warsaw - Chania route.
A movie from the Sfendoni cave
We would like to present a short film that we shot in the Sfendoni cave. This cave is located near the town of Zoniana and is one of the most important caves in Greece. Its area is about 3,000 square meters.
Walk by the Koules fortress
The Koules Fortress is one of the most characteristic monuments of Heraklion. Once it was an element of fortifications that formed a tight ring that girded the capital of Crete. Today, this building has only a historical function and reminds of the power of the Venetians who ruled Crete during the period of splendor of this fortress.
Film from Korakas beach
Korakas is a little known beach located in the mountain town of Rodakino in the south of Crete. Despite the fact that it is 400 m long and is quite wide, it does not attract too many tourists. Along the charming bay there are several taverns and guest houses.
A short movie from Agios Pavlos
Agios Pavlos is a charming place on the south coast of Crete near Triopetra. We have a short movie for you today, which we filmed here during last year's holidays. We invite you to watch :)
Film from the Samaria Gorge
We invite you today to watch the movie that we shot during our trip to the Samaria Gorge. On over a dozen or so shots you will be able to see some of the more characteristic places of the gorge.
A walk around the Knossos palace
We invite you to watch the short film that we made during our last visit to Knossos. We used the fact that in the summer season the opening hours were extended, which allowed to avoid visiting these excavations in the crowd of other tourists. Late afternoon is, in our opinion, the best time to visit the palace in Knossos.
Trip to the Imbros gorge
We have recently posted a description of the Imbros gorge on the site and today we would like to present you a short video of our trip to this place. This gorge is sometimes called Samaria in miniature and its narrowest place is only 1.6 meters wide. In our opinion, its advantage is that it is not so crowded.
A cruise between Chora Sfakion and Agia Roumeli
The film was made during the cruise between Chora Sfakion and Agia Roumeli. Along the way from the ferry, you can admire many interesting places located on the south coast of Crete such as the road to Anopoli, charming Loutro, beaches in Phoenix, the outlet of the Aradena gorge, Marmara beach and the green hills of Agia Roumeli.
Beaches from the south coast of Crete
In the video below you will have the opportunity to see several beaches from the south of Crete. Most of them are in the middle of the islands. A full list of places shown in the movie can be found below. We invite you to watch and of course to visit these beaches.
Traditional pottery plant - Hydria
One of the unique features of Crete is the still-alive presence of small family factories engaged in craft production of traditional Cretan products. Virtually in every major village you will find a shop where local handicraft products are sold. Today we would like to introduce you one of such places, that is, the Hydria pottery plant located in the town of Asomatos.
Video from a walk around the Port of Venice in Chania
Chania for most people is the most beautiful city of Crete. We invite you to watch a short film from a walk around the Port of Venice and its surroundings. This most representative part of the city attracts tourists like a magnet.
A windy day in Plakias
We would like to invite you today to watch the short production of our work entitled "A windy day in Plakias". Tutułowe small town located in the central part of the southern coast of Crete. The proximity of many attractions may encourage you to choose this place as a base for exploring this region of the island. One of the longest beaches to be found in this part of Crete is a great asset of Plakias.
Another windy day in Plakias
We've always wanted to see Crete in the clouds, but from June to August it's not a very common sight and if it's already high up in the mountains. This time, however, our Crete surprised us. Along with the very gusty wind blowing from the north over Plakias clouds came, which scrolled for several days. Using this unusual aura for July, we recorded several shots of a deserted beach.
Chania Airport - Take off - Take off from Chania airport
Airport. Ioannis Daskalogiannis in Chania is the second largest airport in Crete. Today we post a video from the moment that probably none of you like, or the departure from Crete.
Monastery and palm beach in Preveli
In 2010, when Preveli beach was largely destroyed by the fire that raged there, it seemed that for a long time this place would be removed from the group of the greatest attractions of Crete. The sticky stumps of palm trees that remained from the old grove presented a very depressing view. Today we have the opportunity to present you a film from our this year's expedition to this beach. Find out how to regenerate nature yourself.
Return by ferry is Chora Sfakion
New National Road is a peculiar communication backbone of the northern coast of Crete. A significant part of tourist traffic is carried out through this road. However, due to the difficult mountainous terrain, not all areas of the island are as well connected as the northern part of Crete. The wild south coast of the western part of the island has its own maritime equivalent of this land route - it is a permanent ferry connection connecting the most important towns of this region.
2013 Season preview - preview of new movies
We invite you to a shortcut of this year's stay in Crete. This short clip is also a preview of new films that we will post in the near future. Have fun watching and do not forget to turn on the speakers :).
Cruise to Loutro
Loutro is a tiny port located on the south coast of Crete, which can only be reached on foot or by sea. Loutro ships regularly depart from nearby Chora Sfakion. The cruise is short and takes about 15 minutes. We invite you to a movie shortcut from such a cruise.
Road to Tripiti beach
Drive by car on a gravel road leading to Tripiti beach. It is in vain to look for information about this beach in traditional paper guides. It is not surprising, therefore, that this place is overlooked by mass tourism and the vast majority of people relaxing on this beach are local Greeks. We wish you nice watching ... the road is really "interesting".
Landing at the airport Ioannis Daskalogiannis in Chania
In reference to the recently published description of the airport in Chania, today we present you a movie showing the landing at the airport. Ioannis Daskalogiannis. It is worth remembering how most of us greeted Kreta the more that the holiday season is about to end, and for some people the holidays are distant memories.
A quick tour of Rethymnon
Today we offer you a quick virtual walk through the streets of Rethymnon, which is the third largest city of Crete. The city lies in the north-western part of Crete, more or less in the middle of the New National Road section connecting Chania and Heraklion. For many years he has been competing with Chania for the title of the most beautiful city of Crete. Find out for yourself whether it deserves to be called.
Ticket
As my example shows, succumbing to the temptation of stronger gas pressure may end in a costly mandate, as the Greek Police (like Poland) has many places where it is willing to set up with traditional dryers and laser speed meters. I hope that this film will "pick up" some of the visitors to Crete.
Gorge Ha
The Ha Gorge is one of the many magical places in Crete. Due to the steep entrance, exploration is practically inaccessible to ordinary tourists. Without the proper equipment and knowledge of climbing techniques, it is only admiring the narrow mouth of the ravine and its impressive walls steeply rising over 300 meters up.
Road to Elafonisi (west coast of Crete)
Elafonisi is a small island located on the south-western tip of Crete. Pink sand and a large lagoon with warm water attracts tourists in the holiday season. From the side of Kissamos, the most popular way of getting to this beach is through the Gorge of Topolia and along the western end of Crete.
Road from Hora Sfakion to the truss bridge in Araden
Driving from the north to Hora Sfakion, it passes through a road that can be considered as one of the most winding and picturesque roads in Crete. However, if you are already in this place and you are looking to repair an interesting road then you have to go in the direction of Arden, located near the village, because only the road leading to this village shows the true face of a winding road.
Road to the Preveli monastery (Πρέβελη)
Monastery dedicated to Saint. John was founded by a magnate named Prevelis from whose name he gained the colloquial name of Preveli (Greek: Πρέβελη). The beach, located a short distance from this monastery, attracts numerous groups of tourists who want to rest in the vicinity of the palm grove growing on the Megalopotamos estuary. How the access to the monastery looks like presents the following video.
Clouds over the Rodopou peninsula
The following video presents a view of the clouds forming above the Rodopou peninsula. This place is one of the last corners of Crete, which has not yet been blown by the tourist industry. Behind the sleepy towns of Afrata and Rodpos, an asphalt road ends and you can still drive a car only on gravel roads ... whose condition always remains a mystery.

Byłam. W zależności od wielkości fal, przejście nie zawsze jest takie łatwe. Bardzo ślisko może być. Ale warto. I stamtąd obowiązkowo jeździmy na jezioro Kournas.
 Heerlijk plekje
 A chociaż popadało więcej deszczu
Gosia | crete.pl  To byli Kreteńczycy. Pewnie gdyby to byli turyści to w mediach zostałoby to wyraźnie zaznaczone ;)
