The Koules Fortress is one of the most characteristic monuments of Heraklion . Once it was an element of fortifications that formed a tight ring that girded the capital of Crete. Today, this building has only a historical function and reminds of the power of the Venetians who ruled Crete during the period of splendor of this fortress. The film was made during the cruise between Chora Sfakion and Agia Roumeli.
