We invite you to watch our film from Crete, where an express summary of our summer trip is presented. Over a period of just over 3 minutes you will be able to see many of the places where we've been this year and which have fascinated us. Some of them will definitely be available for separate films and articles on our website.
New National Road is a peculiar communication backbone of the northern coast of Crete. A significant part of tourist traffic is carried out through this road. However, due to the difficult mountainous terrain, not all areas of the island are as well connected as the northern part of Crete. The wild south coast of the western part of the island has its own maritime equivalent of this land route - it is a permanent ferry connection connecting the most important towns of this region.
The Koules Fortress is one of the most characteristic monuments of Heraklion. Once it was an element of fortifications that formed a tight ring that girded the capital of Crete. Today, this building has only a historical function and reminds of the power of the Venetians who ruled Crete during the period of splendor of this fortress.
We would like to invite you to watch a short film where you can see a few shots well known to all those who passed the Samaria Gorge. At the end of the day ferries leaving Agia Roumeli take the vast majority of tourists, so it's a great opportunity to see how many people were on this walking route that day. Even though it was our next trip to Samaria, we will definitely come back here again.
