We invite you to watch the short film that we made during our last visit to Knossos . We used the fact that in the summer season the opening hours were extended, which allowed to avoid visiting these excavations in the crowd of other tourists. Late afternoon is, in our opinion, the best time to visit the palace in Knossos .
Monastery dedicated to Saint. John was founded by a magnate named Prevelis from whose name he gained the colloquial name of Preveli (Greek: Πρέβελη). The beach, located a short distance from this monastery, attracts numerous groups of tourists who want to rest in the vicinity of the palm grove growing on the Megalopotamos estuary. How the access to the monastery looks like presents the following video.
The Balos Lagoon attracts hundreds of tourists every day, but the amazing view from the top of the Tigani peninsula is reserved only for those who decide to get here by their own car.
