Korakas is a little known beach located in the mountain town of Rodakino in the south of Crete. Despite the fact that it is 400 m long and is quite wide, it does not attract too many tourists. Along the charming bay there are several taverns and guest houses. If you're in the area and planning a lazy day at the beach, Korakas is a nice option.
As my example shows, succumbing to the temptation of stronger gas pressure may end in a costly mandate, as the Greek Police (like Poland) has many places where it is willing to set up with traditional dryers and laser speed meters. I hope that this film will "pick up" some of the visitors to Crete.
In accordance with the tradition so far, we finally managed to assemble a film summarizing our last trip. Spring in Crete is a good time for hiking, so in our short clip you could not miss shots from this type of trips. We invite you to watch.
Monastery dedicated to Saint. John was founded by a magnate named Prevelis from whose name he gained the colloquial name of Preveli (Greek: Πρέβελη). The beach, located a short distance from this monastery, attracts numerous groups of tourists who want to rest in the vicinity of the palm grove growing on the Megalopotamos estuary. How the access to the monastery looks like presents the following video.
