Today we offer you a quick virtual walk through the streets of Rethymnon , which is the third largest city of Crete. We invite you to watch the short film that we made during our last visit to Knossos. We used the fact that in the summer season the opening hours were extended, which allowed to avoid visiting these excavations in the crowd of other tourists. Late afternoon is, in our opinion, the best time to visit the palace in Knossos.
Krios beach is located about 9 km west of Paleochora and it is also the last beach on this section of the southern coast, accessible by road. If you are looking for a slightly less crowded place and you do not care about the perfect sand, you should be satisfied by choosing this beach.
We have recently posted a description of the Imbros gorge on the site and today we would like to present you a short video of our trip to this place. This gorge is sometimes called Samaria in miniature and its narrowest place is only 1.6 meters wide. In our opinion, its advantage is that it is not so crowded.
