Together with the Hellenic Center for Marine Research (HCMR), which it belongs to, Thalassocosmos is the largest marine research center. It offers a unique opportunity to get acquainted with the wonderful and diverse underwater world of the Mediterranean. As part of HCMR, Cretaquarium promotes and disseminates scientific knowledge about the marine world, with particular emphasis on the seas surrounding Greece.

gość PiotrWie  Ale tylko zwiększyli wysokość mandatów czy zmienili coś jeszcze w przepisach - oprócz praktycznego zakazu kamperów - według nowych przepisów można zatrzymać się tylko na kampingach których jest mało i głównie w lipcu-sierpniu lub na terenie prywatnym ale tylko jeden kamper. Jak to będą egzekwować - się okaże.

gość Jaca  Mimo ze zaden przewodnik tego nie poddpowie da sie dojechac do aptery busem.   Nalezy dojechac do Chanii. Tam bierzemy autobus jadacy w kierunku rethymnonu ktory ma przystanek nazwany Megala Choragia. Jest to skrzyzowanie u podnoza goru na ktorej jest aptera. Pozostaje wgrapac sie na gore, latwa asfaltowa droga, ok 20 minut. (...)
 Byłam tam w zeszłym roku. Zachwyciło mnie to miejsce i jego klimat. Gorąco polecam.
gość Mateusz  Chwilowo wstęp bezpłatny, bo nie ma działającego internetu do obsługi kasy etc, toalety też jeszcze nie ma. Byłem rano 9 czerwca i oprócz mnie i strażnika zero odwiedzających. Wchodzić pomiędzy mury nie wolno, bo korytarze nie do końca zabezpieczone i ktoś już się pokaleczył.
