This inconspicuous little island located about 5 km from the center of Elounda is one of the biggest tourist attractions in Crete. The lighthouse in Chania (Faros - Φάρος) was established for six years from 1595. Like many other buildings of this type and fortifications, it was built by the Venetians who ruled then with Crete. Along with the fortress Frikas located on the opposite coast, it created a gate that closed access to the port basin.

Byłam i polecam.
Co roku nowe rekordy turystyczne
Uwielbiam! Nie ma wyjazdu bez kosztowania dakos
Są pyszne
Great job!
Brawo mieszkańcy i turyści!
