Travel Service (IATA code - QS, ICAO - TVS or TVP) are private Czech airlines. Since 2009, this company has been systematically increasing its share in the total number of charter flights carried out from Polish airports. At the same time, it is one of the most popular carriers operating charter flights to Crete. Next to Enter Air is one of the main players offering this type of flights in our market. Last year Travel Service noted a similar to Enter Air, 3.5% share in the total number of passengers served by airlines operating from Polish airports.
The Travel Service airline was established in 1997. In 2004, the company created a low-cost Smart Wings brand that offers regular cheap flights on several European routes. From 2007 to February 2013 Travel Service was part of the Icelandair group. Last year, the group sold thirty percent of its shares to the original Czech shareholders.
Currently, the carrier uses 26 aircraft, seven of them flying as part of Smart Wings. All machines operating in Travel Service colors are Boeing 737-800 Next Generation. The average age of aircraft (including those belonging to Smart Wings) is about 7 years (for comparison, the average age of Enter Air machines is nearly 10 years larger).
As far as new aircraft are one of the major advantages of these airlines. Despite the fact that they are Czech airlines, in most cases the crew is made up of Poles. So far, we have used the services of the company several times and so far without any major adventures. Some people who write opinions about Travel Service draw attention to the occasional rather large delays occurring to this carrier. Unfortunately, Travel Service is not an isolated event and similar similar incidents happen also to other charter airlines.

When, on May 28, 1999, the airline in the colors of the airline Aegean Airlines made the first cruise flight on the route between Athens and Heraklion, hardly anyone believed that the nascent company would succeed so much. After fifteen years that have passed since that day, Aegean Airlines is the largest Greek carrier, which without the slightest exaggeration can also be called one of the largest and fastest growing in companies in this region of Europe. Until now, aircraft of this airline have carried a total of 67 million passengers.
