In Armeni, in the shadow of olive groves and oaks, the entrances to about 200 tombs from the Minoan era are hidden. Archaeologists found here about 500 skeletons, which turned out to be very valuable, because on their basis you could learn more about people living in the Minoan times, their daily diet and health. Detailed research revealed that the Minoans buried here lived quite short: 31 years old men and 28 years old women.
