Archaeological Museum in Heraklion in the new sanitary regime
2020-06-12 20:09:28
From the nearest Monday (June 15), the Archaeological Museum in Heraklion will resume its activities. This place will be open every day of the week from 8am to 8pm (excluding Tuesdays when the museum is open from 10am to 8pm). If you are planning to visit Crete this year and one of the points that you want to visit, this is a place that is also worth remembering that the museum will operate according to the guidelines related to limiting the spread of coronavirus.
Most likely, similar or very similar rules will also apply to other museums located in Greece, which also resume their activities from Monday. For this reason alone, it is worth getting acquainted with them when planning a visit to one of the other branches subordinate to the Greek Ministry of Culture. The rules published on the website of the Archaeological Museum of Heraklion are as follows:
no more than 30 people may be in the area in front of the ticket office and in front of the ticket machine, who for both points will be divided into two groups of 15 people;
the recommended method of payment for tickets is contactless cashless payment;
people waiting in queues in front of the ticket office must stand at safe distances taking places at the numbered points marked on the floor;
all people must move in accordance with the marked routes (paths and ramps intended for wheelchair users are intended only for the disabled);
all museum visitors and staff are required to use face masks. The museum does not provide protective masks for tourists. Persons without such protective equipment will not be allowed inside;
a certain number of people will be allowed to stay in each of the rooms in the museum. The maximum number of visitors to a given part of the exhibition will be determined according to epidemiological data;
organized groups will not be able to count more than 8 people;
the flow of visitors, both inside and outside the building, will be supervised by the staff of the facility. Both tourists and guides are obliged to follow the instructions given by museum staff;
organized trips can be guided around the museum only using wireless systems that allow silent communication with the guide;
wheelchairs are not borrowed at the museum for the duration of the epidemic. Only luggage can be left in the cloakroom. Receiving outerwear will be temporarily suspended;
in the case of queues, people waiting to use the toilet are obliged to stand at the points designated on the floor;
each person entering or leaving the museum is obliged to disinfect their hands. Decontamination points with devices containing antiseptic fluid are also arranged in several places in the exhibition halls.
gość dodekanezowiec: Moim zdaniem - gdyby porównywać Grecję, Hiszpanię i południowe Włochy to:
1. W kategorii autentyczność: Włochy (np. Kalabria, Sycylia) - 9/10, Grecja - 8/10, Hiszpania - 3/10
2. W kategorii "frontem do potrzeb turysty": Hiszpania - 9/10, Grecja - 7 i pół/10, Włochy - 4/10.
Hiszpania to jakość hoteli, świetna infrastruktura, ale i taka "macdonaldyzacja turystyki" + blokowiska. (...)
