Cruises ANENDYK from Agia Galini to the island of Gavdos

The ferry operator ANENDYK is a company well known to all those who have traveled sea on the south-west coast. The carrier has been gradually expanding its business for many years. At the peak of the holiday season, it offers a number of ferry connections to ports such as Agia Roumeli , Sougia , Paleochora , Loutro or Chora Sfakion . The company is also known for cruising on Gavdos. This island will be the goal of another new connection to be made from the port of Agia Galini .

At the moment, we still do not know all the details about these flights. It is known, however, that this connection will be carried out by the Kalypso ship, which route dividing both places is to be overcome in about 1.5 hours. It is a completely new unit in the ANENDYK ferry fleet. Kalypso is about 26 meters long and its standard travel speed is up to 20 knots (about 37 km / h). He will be able to take about 150 passengers on board. The shipowner predicts that the ship is to provide the possibility of making connections even in the wind with a force of 7 degrees on the Beaufort scale.

The commencement of a cruise in the port of Agia Galini is scheduled for 8 am. On the way back Kalypso is to leave the island of Gavdos around 9 o'clock in the evening. The first cruise according to the assurances of the shipowner is to take place already in May. At present, the price has not yet been determined, however, it will be comparable to the cost of tickets on similar routes operated by other ANENDYK ferries.

Currently, the last works related to the start-up of the cash point, which will be located in Agia Galini, are underway. In the area of the port, a parking lot is to be prepared at which travelers will be able to leave their cars.

Jak tak dalej pójdzie to zadepczą Gavdos na śmierć. Wyspa ma 4 na 10 km.

Jak na razie 11:15, co daje tylko 3,5 godziny na wyspie- trochę mało. Najlepiej sprawdzać na bieżąco na stronie przewoźnika.
