Cretan Daily Cruises is a well-known company in Crete offering full-day cruises. The good news is that the cruise lineup has expanded this year, but the bad news is that prices will be higher during high season.
The picturesque island of Gramvousa
This year, four cruise options are on offer. The most popular and iconic excursion is the Balos Lagoon and Gramvousa Island cruise. This is practically a "must-do" for those vacationing in western Crete. This year, Cretan Daily Cruises also began offering a cruise solely to Balos Lagoon. However, in our opinion, the difference in cost is so small that it's not worth missing out on a visit to the picturesque island of Gramvousa.
Cruises around Souda Bay have also returned to the tour offer, and are also a great option for those staying in the western Crete region.
In eastern Crete, the cruise options are limited. Only a cruise to Chrissi Island will be available. We regret to note that cruises to the beautiful island of Koufonissi will be closed for another year.
It is also worth noting that the pricing policy has also changed in 2026, as Cretan Daily Cruises has differentiated ticket prices, the price of which increases during the high season.

The above prices include VAT and audio guide fees (English, Greek, French, and German). Meals are available on board, but are not included in the ticket price (€13). Additionally, a €1 administration fee is added to each ticket.
Boats to Balos and Gramvousa depart from the port of Kissamos on April 23. Departures are at 10:35, 10:40, and 11:00. The trip lasts 7 hours.
Cruises exclusively to Balos Lagoon will begin on May 3rd. Boats will depart from the port at 10:30 AM and also from the port of Kissamos at 1:15 PM. Five hours must be reserved for this cruise.
Souda Bay cruises will be available from June 1 to September 15. Ships will depart from Kissamos Port at 9:30 a.m. Return is scheduled for 3:00 p.m.
Ticket prices for the 2026 Souda Bay cruise are as follows:

The ticket price does not include the meal served on board, which is optional and requires an additional fee (€13).
The ship departs from the port of Ierapetra at 11:30
For this cruise, please note that for several years, out of concern for the island's natural environment, access to the island has been prohibited. The ship approaches the island and anchors nearby. Passengers can swim to the island and exit only on the beach.

Owszem, mógłbym powiedzieć, że 40 euro za Chrissi to kiedyś było już dojazdem autokarem z Hersonissos/Stalidy/Malii ale to było w 2009 jakoś :)
