Greece present at the Tourist Fair in Warsaw

In recent years, Greece has become one of the most popular holiday destinations among Polish tourists. According to available data from 2022, 900,000 people flew to Greece. Poles, which placed the Polish market in 5th place in terms of inbound tourism.

A large percentage of these guests are regulars of this country, who choose Greece as their holiday destination every year. These people clearly define themselves as ardent admirers of Greek landscapes, culture and, of course, local cuisine. The most popular destinations are the islands. And although Crete is one of the most popular, Rhodes, Zakynthos, Corfu and Kos are also common choices.

High booking percentage

In this context, the numbers provided by the managers of Polish tour operators during this year's ITTF International Tourism Fair are interesting. They were held in Warsaw on March 16-18 and were under the patronage of the Polish Chamber of Tourism. It turns out that over 30% of Polish tourists who plan to visit Greece this year have already made a reservation using first minute offers. Tour operators estimate that another 50% will book by June. This expected high percentage of bookings is a symptom that few people will be waiting for last minute deals.
