Plakias is one of those places we are always happy to come back to. In our opinion, the greatest advantages of this place are its peace, mostly long sandy beach and the surrounding landscape with a characteristic rocky cliff. Being there, however, it is not worth limiting yourself only to rest in this town. You will also find several other interesting places in the relatively close vicinity. It is worth mentioning such beaches as located east of Plakias, Schinaria beach or Damnoni beach. Going further in this direction, you will also find the famous Preveli on the map, which, however, is quite crowded in the high season.
Today, through the film by Giannis Psaroudakis, we would like to take you on a virtual tour of the beaches located not to the east, but to the west of Plakias. This is definitely a less touristic corner of Crete, which attracts seekers of a slightly different face of Crete. Beaches such as Rodakino, Korakas, Agia Marina or Peristere , visible in the film, are rarely mentioned in tourist guides and may be considered as not very interesting by a large proportion of people. However, selected deliberately, they allow you to find true peace of mind from the hustle and bustle of other beaches during the tourist season. Therefore, it should probably come as no surprise that the inhabitants of the northern coast of Crete flee to such places on weekends. Very often it is on this type of beach that they find a moment of rest from the ubiquitous tourists.

Do nich trzeba dojść, czasem niemało. Dlatego są super.
