Hiking the Havgas Gorge

Near Dikte, the mythical cave of Zeus, hidden on the edge of the Lassithi Plateau, is the little known and rarely visited Havgas Gorge ( Χαυγά ). It is situated between the two peaks of Katharios Lakkos (1197 m) and Kefala (1269 m). The length of the Havgas Gorge is approximately 4 km, and its bottom flows from the Katharo Plateau to the Lassithi Plateau. The ravine is wild and the path is virgin. In the upper part, it can be problematic even for experienced climbers. Interestingly formed rocks rise vertically in places and remind us of… buildings made of bricks. There are many trees and other vegetation on the less steep slopes, and the gorge itself has a rich ecosystem and is home to many species of animals. What annoys tourists in Crete?
gość lechgal  Uwielbiam kreteńskie drogi za to, że są kręte, wąskie i czasem można się trochę pogubić. To właśnie sprawia, że krótki urlop staje się przygodą, którą długo, mile się wspomina i tęskni za powrotem. Jak ktoś potrzebuje idealnych dróg, niech jedzie na wypoczynek do Niemiec. Ja wolę egzotyczne wakacje na tajemniczych trasach Krety.
gość PiotrWie  A mnie denerwują narastające z roku na rok tłumy. Ale za to podoba mi się że nie zabudowali większości plaż wielkimi hotelami jak w Hiszpanii, na Cyprze czy choćby na Korfu.

Tanie Wakacje w Ciepłych Krajach - all inclusive, last minute i inne  3 razy byłem i zawsze super
 Też mnie denerwują smieci, ale najbardziej podejście do zwierząt.
 9razy byłam na Krecie, jest super, jeździmy na nawigacji po polsku i jeszcze nas nie zawiodła. Pozatym jeżdżą autobusy, co prawda nie zawsze punktualnie, ale przecież na urlopie nigdzie mi się nie spieszy
