How many times in museums, looking at the faces of marble statues depicting great figures of the ancient world, have you wondered what these people actually looked like? Thanks to the work of Panagiotis Konstantinou from Cyprus, you will have the opportunity to see what the great sages of ancient Greece could have looked like. Unmoving stone faces with a lifeless gaze came to life thanks to 3D modeling programs. They have hair, a lively look and a color that stone carvings lack so much. Thanks to this, it is easier to find human features in these images and compare them with our own ideas that arise when we look at stone sculptures ourselves.

On the two videos attached to this news you can watch the modeled faces of Socrates, Aristotle, Hippocrates, among others, and look into the eyes of the ancient globetrotter, historian Herodotus. If you are interested in these visualizations, take a look at Panagiotis Konstantinou 's YouTube channel, because you will find there other similar visualizations of famous figures of the ancient world from Rome and Egypt. We are impressed!
