Sunset on Elafonisi

Recording time-lapse footage requires patience, time, and sometimes determination. In order to later edit this one and a half minute movie, we had to spend several hours on the Elafonisi beach. Someone may say: where are the determination and dedication? Well, not everything looks so rosy. That day, the beach was not a friendly place where you spend time with pleasure. The strong wind blowing all the time required us to hold a tripod with a camera. Any attempt to leave the equipment without manual "assist" quickly ended with its tipping. An additional attraction during a windy day was the sand that ruthlessly poured us straight into our face and eyes, and the exposed skin was provided with hours of peeling.

However, we believe that the end result was worth it, because the sunset on Elafonisi is one of the most beautiful in Crete. If we were to shoot the material in such conditions, we would probably do it. You can find the movie on our website. Take a look, feel the atmosphere, admire the colors of the landscape.
