It is said that Paleochora (Παλαιόχωρα), built on the ruins of the ancient city of Kalamydi, is "the bride of the Libyan Sea." Every year, tourists who like self-composed holidays come to small family hotels, guesthouses, taverns and bars. Some of them have been coming to Paleochora for many years, a dozen, sometimes even several dozen. This phenomenon is almost unknown in commercial towns serving mass, organized tourism. Until now, Paleochora is still overlooked by larger travel agencies, thanks to which the atmosphere there is unique. Personally, we hope that this state will last as long as possible. We know almost every corner of this town, which is why it is a real pleasure to take you on today's walk around the nooks and crannies of this town.
