In the last hours, the Greek government has again changed its decisions regarding the possibility of tourists entering Greece. Let us remind you that on Friday evening another new list of 29 countries was published, from which tourists can come to Greece from June 15. You probably remember that Poland was not on this list. However, yesterday evening the Greek Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Tourism once again changed the entry rules for citizens of different countries. All changes have been published in the guidelines entitled "Greece welcomes the world" . According to the information contained therein, Greece will welcome the world in several phases and not unconditionally.
The first phase will be valid until June 15, international flights will only be possible to the airport in Athens. All travelers who arrive in Greece within this period of time will be subjected to mandatory coronavirus tests. After sampling, tourists will have to spend the night in a designated hotel and wait for the test result. If the test result turns out to be negative, the visitor is to be quarantined for 7 days. If the result is positive and the tourist is infected, the quarantine will be extended to 14 days. This quarantine will be supervised.
The second phase - the bridging one - will take place from June 15 and will last until the end of this month. International flights will be carried out only at two airports: in Athens and Thessaloniki. Contrary to previous announcements, citizens of all countries may arrive within this period. However, if the traveler arrives from an airport located in the area with a high risk of Covid-19 transmission, then he will necessarily have to undergo a coronavirus test, spend the night in a designated hotel, and then undergo a 7-day quarantine in the event of a negative result, or for a positive result. Other passengers who arrive from places designated as safe will only be randomly tested on arrival.
Unlike the previous document, which simply listed 29 countries whose citizens would be received in Greece, a list of airports in the most-threatened areas has now been created. The list is created by EASA (European Aviation Safety Agency) based on the latest available epidemiological information. The decision to include or exclude an airport from this list is to be based on various relevant data such as: test rate, number of active cases, number of deaths, number of tests, reproduction rate, etc. This list is to be updated on a regular basis, so travelers should check before departure or the airport from which they fly to Greece, is in the endangered area. This list can be found at this link: list of airports located in the area with high risk of Covid-19 transmission.
At present, only the airport in Katowice in Poland has been indicated as located in the area with the highest risk of coronavirus transmission.
The land borders of Greece with Albania, Bulgaria and Northern Macedonia will also be opened in this phase. However, in this case visitors will also be subjected to random tests.
From July 1, all airports in Greece will start accepting international flights and sea borders will also be opened. Passengers on all flights and ships will be tested only randomly. It would look great if it wasn't for the announcement that additional restrictions on some countries will be announced later.
It is also worth remembering that Greece at each of the above stages, reserves the right to modify the above arrangements if the epidemiological situation changes.
At the same time, the Greek Civil Aviation Authority announced the extension of the flight ban between Greece and Italy, Spain, Great Britain and the Netherlands for another two weeks. According to this directive, the ban will apply until June 14. At the same time, until June 14, flights between Greece and Albania, Northern Macedonia and Turkey are still in force.

No cóż.

Agnieszka Oska Zapewne kwarantanna.

CRETE - Kreta i powrót na własną rękę zapewne....studzi zapał do tegorocznych wyjazdów

No właśnie, mnie to też zastanawia.

komentarz z
Klaudia, informacje te podało greckie MSZ. Zastrzegają jednak możliwość zmian gdyby wirus się rozhulał.
