Today in Greece is celebrated one of the most important national holidays, the Day of Οχι ( ochi ), which means "Day NO". On that day eighty years ago, the Greeks opposed the demands of the Italians and did not give them control of strategic places. The consequence, of course, was that Greece entered the war. This holiday has a special meaning today, when our society also says emphatically NO.
