Agia Triada is a small Minoan archaeological site in the south of Crete, located near the Palace of Phaistos. Agia Triada is located only 3 km from Phaistos, so it is worth taking advantage of this neighborhood location and combining sightseeing of both places. When planning a visit, you should bear in mind the short opening time of Agia Triada, because the excavations can only be visited until 3 pm. The quiet and beautiful location among trees is an additional advantage, and for lovers of all kinds of excavations it may be tempting that Agia Triada is visited much less frequently than the monumental one neighbor in Phaistos. This is a guarantee that we will not encounter organized tours here.
