The commune of Heraklion starts the campaign at the beginning of the year, which is to encourage potential guests to come to this region and bring them closer to the beautiful corners of the capital of Crete. The Department of Tourism in cooperation with Indigoview has already prepared the latest clip promoting the commune of Heraklion, already known to us from earlier excellent productions. Certainly, many people will recognize the most popular corners of this city and its surroundings, i.e. monuments, museums, archaeological sites and other unique places.
The video was constructed in an interesting way: it showed two different tourists visiting Heraklion. Each of them has different preferences and ideas for spending their holidays. Their stories are interwoven throughout the video. One is interested in history, culture and Cretan tradition, the other wants to spend the holidays more entertaining using the benefits of the sea, Cretan cuisine, meeting people and having fun. Finally, they meet at the church of St. Titus, i.e. one of the city's most famous landmarks.
What was the purpose of this construction of the film? It's all about emphasizing that Heraklion is a city for tourists with different interests and needs, looking for unique experiences. Everyone will find something for themselves and thus create their unique "map" of Heraklion. After watching the movie, you may wonder which type of tourist is closer to you ;-)
