In recent years, Greece, and in particular Crete, has gained a lot of popularity among tourists. And although many of the places recognized as attractions there are heavily besieged by tourists, you can still find hidden nooks that have defended themselves against the mass influx of foreign vacationers. One of such places is certainly the town of Tris Ekklisies located in the Asterousia mountains. The local beaches are eagerly chosen by the inhabitants of the north coast of Crete, who are here at the peak of the holiday season looking for a break from influential tourists. Below you can see a short film by Giannis Psaroudakis, who recently visited this area of Crete.
Watching this clip pay special attention to the road leading to this town. Countless bends forming tight streamers are no less picturesque than those that can be admired in Sfakia. When planning a vacation here, remember that traveling along this road is not only breakneck, but also takes a long time. Being in Tris Ekklisies it is worth focusing on exploring the interesting area.
